Where we are

El Rincón Slow is half-way between Barcelona and Valencia. We are on the Coll de l’Alba, a privileged balcony looking onto the Delta del Ebro, close enough to the delta to be able to enjoy all its treasures and marvels, but also far enough in order not to suffer the terror of the stagnant water: the swarms of mosquitoes. We are in the countryside, surrounded by olive trees and almond trees, 5 miles far from Tortosa and 5 from L’Ampolla, where there are some beautiful beaches. We are also just 3 miles from exit number 40 of the AP-7 motorway, that runs along the Mediterranean coast from France to Andalusia.

El Rincón Slow is 45 miles far from Reus Airport, linked to many European and British capitals. We are 100 miles from Barcelona Airport and 115 from Valencia’s.

How to reach El Rincón Slow:

1. Take exit number 40 (L’Aldea-Tortosa) of the AP-7 motorway.

2. At the roundabout right after the tollgate, go towards the Polígono Industrial Catalunya Sur. (No matter whether you come from the South or from the North, the tollgate is always the same, since there is just one tollgate for both directions).

3. Continue for 1,500 metres; here you will find another roundabout.

4. Turn right at the roundabout, towards Camí de lo Ranxero.

5. Approximately 500 metres after the roundabout, where the ramp ends, turn left, towards Camí de les Barraques.

6. After 1,400 metres, the road splits. Take the road to the right, towards Camí de les Barraques.

7. After approximately 1,200 metres, you will see a track to the left marked with a big green fluorescent stone. Take this track.

8. Once on the track, El Rincón Slow is the first property on the left (approximately 150 metres).
